Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for AI/ML workloads.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and prepare data from various sources.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and efficiency across all data systems.
- Optimize data infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Implement data governance and security best practices.




- Develop and manage data warehousing and data lake solutions.
- Monitor data systems and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building data pipelines for ML/AI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud data services (AWS Redshift, S3, EMR; Azure Data Factory, Databricks; GCP BigQuery, Dataflow).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment.
