This role is adecuado for someone who is hands‑on and confident working across Spanish and English in a fast-moving fulfillment environment.
What you’ll focus on
1. Employee Relations and Day-to-Day HR

Handle onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and employee records for the Tijuana team
Manage attendance, leave, and time‑off administration in line with local practice and Locad's global leave policy
Support disciplinary processes, investigations, and terminations with proper documentation
2. Mexico Labor Compliance
Ensure compliance with the Federal Labor Law (LFT), IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT, and other applicable local requirements
Maintain compliant contracts, internal work regulations, and required employee documentation
Track statutory benefits and obligations such as aguinaldo, vacation premium, and profit sharing (PTU)
Work with local legal counsel and Locad's People & Culture team on any labor risks or changes
3. Payroll Coordination
Coordinate weekly payroll inputs and validation with the existing payroll provider and attendance system
Review attendance, overtime, and incidents before each payroll cut‑off and resolve discrepancies
Partner with Finance on payroll reporting, accruals, and statutory payments
Flag payroll process improvements as the team scales
4. Warehouse Workforce Support
Support hiring and scheduling for warehouse operations staff, including full‑time and project‑based roles
Work with the VP of Operations and operations supervisors on staffing, performance, and engagement
Promote workplace safety practices and coordinate with site leadership on incident follow‑up
Run basic employee engagement and communication on site
5. Transition and Global Alignment
Document local HR processes and keep them current
Provide regular updates to Locad's People & Culture team on headcount, risks, and workforce needs
Help introduce Locad policies and ways of working at a pace agreed with global HR
What you bring
- 5+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience, ideally in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or other operations-heavy environments in Mexico
- Strong working knowledge of Mexican labor law and compliance
- Hands‑on experience with weekly payroll coordination and attendance systems
- Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and terminations
- Fluent Spanish and professional-level English, written and spoken
