About the Role

Our client, a prominent firm specializing in industrial automation solutions, is seeking a meticulous Especialista en Instalación y Calibración de Equipos de Medición y Control to join their dynamic team in Morelia, Michoacán . This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical measurement and control systems used across various industries. Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and calibrate a variety of industrial instruments, including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level indicators.
- Perform regular calibration checks and adjustments to ensure measurement accuracy according to specified standards (e.g., ISO, NIST).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and control systems.
- Read and interpret technical specifications, P&IDs; (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and calibration procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all calibration activities, instrument histories, and certification documents.
- Ensure all installation and calibration activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to identify instrumentation needs and recommend solutions.




- Provide technical support and training to site personnel on the proper use and maintenance of measurement and control equipment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in instrumentation technology and calibration techniques.
- Participate in quality assurance audits related to instrumentation and measurement systems.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an instrumentation technician or calibration specialist in an industrial setting.
- In-depth knowledge of various measurement principles and instrumentation technologies (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, level).
- Proficiency in performing calibration procedures using standard and specialized calibration equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and best practices for calibration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications in instrumentation or calibration (e.g., ISA) are highly desirable.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
