About the Role

Our client, a premier tourism and transportation provider in Acapulco, Guerrero, MX , is looking for a dedicated and organized Coordinator of Tourist Routes and Fleets. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize daily transportation routes for various tourist excursions and transfers, considering traffic patterns and client needs.
- Coordinate and schedule drivers, ensuring adequate coverage for all services and adherence to working hours regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance and readiness of the fleet, liaising with maintenance teams to schedule regular servicing and address any mechanical issues promptly.
- Manage reservations and bookings related to transportation services, ensuring accurate information is conveyed to clients and drivers.
- Act as a primary point of contact for drivers, providing support and guidance as needed throughout their shifts.
- Monitor fleet performance and driver adherence to schedules and company policies, identifying areas for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to transportation services efficiently and courteously.




- Maintain detailed records of fleet usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure cohesive service delivery.

Requirements

- Proven experience in logistics coordination, fleet management, or a similar role within the tourism or transportation sector.
- Excellent understanding of route planning and optimization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Acapulco and surrounding areas, including common tourist destinations and road networks.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, clients, and staff.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles.
- Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
