About the Role

Our client is embarking on an exciting phase of growth and is looking for a visionary Director/a de Comunicación Corporativa y Asuntos Públicos to lead their strategic communication efforts. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mexico. You will be responsible for shaping and protecting the company's reputation, developing integrated communication plans, and managing all external and internal communications. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of corporate strategy, public affairs, and media relations. The adecuado candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. This position is critical to maintaining our client's brand integrity and fostering positive relationships with the public, government entities, and the media. As a remote-first role, you will leverage digital collaboration tools to ensure seamless communication and team alignment. Your expertise will be vital in navigating complex communication landscapes and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our client's standing in the market. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive corporate communication strategies, including media relations, public affairs, and crisis communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, government officials, and industry influencers.




- Develop and deliver compelling messaging that supports the company's business objectives and brand values.
- Manage the company's public image and reputation, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Lead internal communication initiatives to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
- Direct the creation of all external communication materials, including press releases, annual reports, and speeches.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication matters.
- Monitor and analyze the media landscape and public opinion relevant to the company's interests.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public affairs, and media relations, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic communication plans in complex environments.
- Exceptional understanding of public policy and government relations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Proven ability to manage crisis communications effectively.
- Experience with remote team leadership and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
