About the Role

Our client, a state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing facility, is seeking a highly skilled Técnico de Mantenimiento Industrial con Especialización en Robótica to join their advanced manufacturing team in Saltillo, Coahuila . This critical role involves ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated robotic systems and automated production lines. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems associated with industrial robots, coupled with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail, dedicated to minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial robots, automated machinery, and associated control systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues related to robotic systems. Execute repairs and replacements of robotic components, including servo motors, controllers, sensors, and end-effectors. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and robotic programming logic. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robotic system upgrades and improvements. Ensure all maintenance and repair activities adhere to strict safety protocols and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and calibration activities.



Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and minimize production downtime. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic cells and automated equipment. Stay current with advancements in robotics and automation technology.

Requirements

Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician with a specialization in robotics. Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and PLC control logic. Hands-on experience with major robot brands (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa). Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment for robotic systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of safety procedures for automated manufacturing environments. Ability to work independently and effectively within a team. Technical degree or certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electronics, or a related field. Willingness to work adaptable shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
