About the Role

Our client, a growing manufacturing company in the food processing industry, is seeking a talented Ingeniero Mecánico de Automatización y Control to enhance their production capabilities in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This role is focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and control mechanisms to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in their manufacturing processes. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, PLCs, and automation technologies. You will be instrumental in driving technological advancements within the plant, ensuring smooth operation of machinery and optimizing production workflows. Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement automated mechanical systems and control solutions for production machinery.
- Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and other control components into automated systems.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics and control logic documentation.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams on system design and integration.
- Conduct performance testing and commissioning of automated equipment.




- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through automation and technology upgrades.
- Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and industry regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in automation, control systems, and mechanical integration.
- Proven experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, sensors, and actuators.
- Experience with CAD software for designing mechanical and electrical components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Spanish, with basic knowledge of English for technical documentation.
- Experience in the food processing or related manufacturing industries is a plus.
