About the Role

Our client, a major agricultural enterprise in the fertile region of Culiacán, Sinaloa, MX , is seeking a dedicated Ingeniero de Mantenimiento Mecánico . This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our extensive fleet of agricultural machinery and processing equipment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and managing spare parts inventory. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong hands‑on approach, combined with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics as applied in an agricultural context. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all agricultural machinery and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, providing timely and effective repair solutions.
- Oversee and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment in the maintenance shop.




- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize machinery utilization.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment or technologies to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the agricultural or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and processing equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with basic electrical systems and controls related to machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills for record‑keeping and inventory management.
- Spanish fluency required.
