About the Role

Our client, a integral leader in digital transformation services, is seeking a highly experienced Abogado Senior - Derecho Contractual to join their fully remote legal team. This position will focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements for clients across various industries. The role requires a deep understanding of contract law, risk management, and the ability to provide strategic legal guidance remotely. Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of complex commercial contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), software licenses, and partnership agreements.
- Provide expert legal advice on contractual terms, risks, and obligations to business stakeholders.
- Develop and implement standardized contract templates and playbooks to improve efficiency.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and effective record-keeping.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on contract-related legal issues.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, procurement, and engineering, in a remote setting.




- Assist in developing negotiation strategies and provide guidance on complex deal structures.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments impacting contractual relationships.

Requirements

- Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) and licensed to practice law in Mexico.
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience specializing in commercial contract law.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex, high-value agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of contract principles, remedies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships remotely.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing a demanding workload independently.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.
- Experience in the technology or IT services sector is highly advantageous.
