Key Responsibilities

- Develop, validate, and implement high-fidelity simulation models for automotive components and systems (e.g., structural, thermal, fluid dynamics, multibody dynamics).
- Perform advanced simulations to analyze performance, durability, crashworthiness, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), and other critical attributes.
- Interpret simulation results and provide actionable insights to design and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with physical testing teams to correlate simulation models with experimental data.
- Define simulation strategies and methodologies to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in simulation software, techniques, and automotive technologies.
- Develop and maintain simulation workflows and best practices.




- Contribute to the design optimization process based on simulation findings.
- Present simulation results and recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers in simulation techniques and tools.

Requirements

- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field with a focus on simulation and modeling.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) within the automotive industry.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard simulation software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, MSC Nastran, COMSOL, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with modeling tools like MATLAB/Simulink for system-level simulations.
- In-depth knowledge of physics principles relevant to automotive engineering (mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish; professional proficiency in English is required for effective remote collaboration.
