About the Position: We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Mid to join the Engineering Development R&D; team, reporting directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager . This position is based at our office in CDMX. As the Mechanical Design Engineer Mid at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate..... Your Responsibilities will be:

· Support different activities related to the development of automotive lighting and sensing systems and

· Design complex components and assemblies using NX and CATIA.
-
· Create, update and review drawings on NX and CATIA.
-
· Be familiarized with design guidelines and apply them effectively.
-
· Review customer styling surfaces and create proposals to enable feasibility of the requests.
-
· Manage all company information properly by storing it in the correct database and making it available
- to the appropriate group of people, in accordance with company procedures.
-
· Design feasible components for automotive lighting systems, taking into account all required
- manufacturing and assembly processes.

· Assist with engineering change request activities as needed.
-




· Support cross functional projects and train other team members as required.
-
· Conduct root cause analysis and support related activities when necessary.

· Retrieve information from the OnePLM system and follow up on activities required for Bill of Materials
- (BoM) releases.
-
· Review process and product documentation, identify improvement areas, and implement necessary
- improvements.

· Review training materials and provide feedback when necessary.
-
· Follow up on project open points and provide support to resolve them in accordance with the product
- engineer's or launch engineer's guidance.

· Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines, avoiding unnecessary risks and preventing accidents. What Qualifications you will bring:

Education:
Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or equivalent Engineering Degree.
- Language: English and Spanish.
- Expertise: 3 Years of experience in Engineering Design & Development. Other skills that we would welcome: . Knowledge and experience using CAD software Catia and NX. . Knowledge or experience with automotive lighting systems. . Knowledge of GD&T; and Injection Molding. What does this position offer you:
