Requirements

- Possess 4-6 years of progressive, hands-on experience in quality assurance and test automation engineering within an enterprise software development environment, focusing on robust system validation.
- This role requires a full-time commitment to on-site work at our Guadalajara facility, fostering direct collaboration and immediate team engagement for optimal project delivery.

Required Skills

- Demonstrated hands‑on experience implementing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for robust web application testing.
- Strong working knowledge and practical application of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies to create clear, collaborative, and executable specifications.




- Proven ability to develop and debug test automation frameworks and scripts effectively using Java programming language.
- Practical experience with DynamoDB, including data manipulation and validation for test data management and backend testing scenarios.
- Solid experience in testing and validating REST APIs, including understanding of API structures, request/response formats, and authentication mechanisms.
- Proficiency in using GitHub for version control, collaborative code management, and integrating with continuous integration workflows.
- Experience integrating Selenium test results and automation efforts with Jira testing tools for comprehensive defect tracking and reporting.
- Hands‑on experience configuring and managing continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins for automated test execution and deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Zephyr within Jira for test case management, execution tracking, and generating detailed test reports.
- Comprehensive understanding and practical application of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and executing end‑to‑end (E2E) and user interface (UI) test automation solutions.

Job responsibilities





- Develop and implement robust automated test scripts using Selenium and Java for web and API applications.
- Build and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and reusability across projects.
- Enhance existing test suites with new features and optimizations to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Analyze complex system requirements and design effective test strategies for end‑to‑end and UI test automation.
- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios and integrate them into the automation framework.
- Maintain continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins to automate test execution and reporting.
- Develop and execute tests for REST APIs, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Build and manage test data within DynamoDB to support various testing scenarios.
- Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, adhering to STLC and SDLC best practices.
