Job Description

We are seeking for a COBOL Mainframe Developer to join our team in Mexico City

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL-based mainframe applications.
- Work with CICS, JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF and z/OS environments.
- Analyze existing programs and implement required changes.




- Troubleshoot application and batch-processing issues.
- Support testing, defect resolution, and production activities.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in COBOL development and maintenance
- Good working knowledge of IBM z/OS Mainframe
- Experience with TSO/ISPF system tools and utilities
- Strong knowledge of JCL, including job execution and troubleshooting
- Experience with VSAM file handling
- Hands-on development/support experience with CICS
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting mainframe applications
- Ability to analyze and modify existing COBOL programs

Preferred Skills

- Experience in banking or financial-services applications
- Knowledge or prior experience with Credit Systems / Credit Processing is highly desirable
- Experience supporting business-critical production applications
