Job Description:
HMD Trucking Inc. is looking for a highly-motivated Backend Java Developer who wants to contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and be part of an industry-leading organization that consistently sets new standards.
Experience and desired skills:
Proficient in spoken and written ENGLISH (must)
Minimum 5 years experience using Java +Spring Framework
Unit Testing
Cucumber Testing
Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines
Python
Docker
Postman
What You Will Be Doing
Alternating between individual and team coding within a source-controlled environment to support collaboration and knowledge sharing
Working on new and existing projects developed using Java + Angular
Collaborating with other employees to ensure frontend has all the information needed from the backend
Building web apis to send data to the frontend team
Taking ownership of projects and team responsibilities
Maintaining organizational websites and optimizing performance levels
Recommending new technology solutions for digital channels
Designing, developing, and maintaining high standards for software development
