The PA is an integral part of the functional-program matrix organization, as it enables the Program Manager (PgM) to focus on strategy and high-level decision-making.
• Operational and Logistics Support: Ensures delivery commitments are tracked, coordinating production outputs with the shipping department to meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
• Documentation Control and Reporting: Updates status, manages backlog changes, and ensures all changes follow the correct approval workflow and are properly recorded.
• Process Auditing: Goes beyond merely taking notes; tracks meeting agreements to ensure they are translated into executed tasks and verifies that programs comply with internal company policies, including PEX. Knowledge:
