Construction Estimator / Plan Reader (On-Site)

? On-Site Position

We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator / Plan Reader to join our team and support the preparation of accurate and profitable estimates for construction, hardscape, sitework, and landscape-related projects.

This role is idóneo for a professional who can interpret construction plans, perform quantity takeoffs, analyze project costs, evaluate risks, obtain vendor pricing, and develop comprehensive bids and proposals.

Responsibilities

✅ Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

✅ Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations.

✅ Prepare complete project estimates and bid proposals.

✅ Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

✅ Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.

✅ Assess project risks and cost impacts.

✅ Review project revisions and addenda.

✅ Ensure estimates are competitive, accurate, and profitable.

✅ Collaborate with internal teams to meet bidding deadlines.

Requirements

✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating, bidding, or cost analysis.

✔ Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans.





✔ Experience preparing complete budgets and project estimates.

✔ Experience working with contractors and/or subcontractors.

✔ Strong knowledge of quantity takeoffs.

✔ Advanced English communication skills (C1 preferred).

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Schedule

? 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

? Monday - Sunday

✅ Two rotating days off per week

This is not an operational landscaping position .

We are not looking for landscapers, gardeners, installers, maintenance personnel, field supervisors, or landscape designers.

We are looking for professionals with experience in estimating, budgeting, bidding, cost analysis, takeoffs, and plan reading .
