Title: DevOps Environment Admin - Junior

This position requires a seasoned DevOps and environments support professional with strong expertise in change management, configuration management, environment setup, deployment orchestration, and cloud infrastructure.

The engineer will build, configure, maintain, and support secure, reliable application environments across development and test. Stage and production, also known as managed environments, are outside this role’s support scope. The role requires extensive Microsoft Azure knowledge and hands-on expertise in infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, environment configuration, scripting with Bash, PowerShell, and Python, AI-assisted engineering and automation, Azure Key Vault and enterprise secret management, certificates, access controls, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

As a member of the engineering team, the candidate will support API-based cloud orchestration solutions, deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and the operational readiness of supported non-managed environments.

Education

- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related field preferred but not required

Experience Required (Mandatory)

- 3+ years Kubernetes
- 3+ years Building CI/CD pipelines/actions using Azure DevOps and GitHub
- 3+ years of development using .NET/JavaScript/Python
- 3+ years of advanced automation scripting using Bash, PowerShell, and Python, including AI-assisted engineering or automation workflows and secure secret management with Azure Key Vault or an equivalent enterprise vault platform

- Extensive Azure Key Vault and enterprise vault expertise for secure management of secrets, keys, certificates, application credentials, access policies, RBAC, rotation, auditing, and environment-specific configuration
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or comparable AI assistants to enhance day-to-day engineering capabilities. This includes AI-assisted development and scripting, code review, documentation, deployment automation, environment configuration, operational troubleshooting, prompt design, research, and productivity improvement, while following responsible-use, security, privacy, and data-protection requirements.
- Security - Vulnerability remediation, Security integration in pipelines, infrastructure access control RBAC
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), kubectl, and tools such as FreeLens (Lens) or Headlamp for cluster navigation, workload inspection, troubleshooting, and operational support
- Knowledge of Helm and creating Helm packages




- Experience troubleshooting and resolving urgent, high-visibility technical problems
- Familiarity with Distributed Systems, Microservice architecture, and Containers
