Mexico. Mode: Remote. We at Coforge are hiring for the position of SRE Technical Lead – Java / AWS with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage P1/P2 major incidents, service restoration, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Define SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Drive observability, monitoring, alerting, and automation to reduce operational toil, MTTD, and MTTR.
• Troubleshoot Java Spring Boot microservices and improve AWS platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Lead capacity planning, resilience testing, and continuous service improvement.
• Lead 24x7 production support operations, shift planning, on-call schedules, and team coverage. Required Skills & Qualifications




• 12–15 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years leading 24x7 operations or managed-services teams.
• Strong AWS knowledge: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, ALB/ELB, Route 53, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot microservices and SRE practices.
• Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, Docker, ECS, Fargate, and ECR.
• Scripting experience with Python and/or Bash; strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting Kafka, SQS, and/or RabbitMQ.
• Excellent leadership, communication, incident management, and stakeholder management skills.
