As an SAP Payroll Functional Lead, you will lead the functional design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP Payroll solutions, working closely with business and technical teams to deliver effective and scalable payroll processes. You will act as a key functional expert, translating business requirements into SAP Payroll solutions while ensuring quality throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
include:
• Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Payroll solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective functional designs and system configurations.
• Configure and maintain payroll processes, rules, schemas, and related functionality based on business requirements.
• Lead functional workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders to define payroll requirements and solution approaches.
• Perform and coordinate functional testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify and resolve functional issues related to payroll configuration, integrations, and end-to-end processes.
• Collaborate with technical and integration teams to ensure alignment between SAP Payroll and connected systems.
• Support data validation, system deployment, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
• Provide functional leadership, guidance, and subject matter expertise to project teams and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and enhancements to existing payroll solutions. HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Strong functional experience in SAP Payroll, including hands-on configuration.
• Experience designing, configuring, testing, and implementing SAP Payroll solutions.




• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and their configuration within SAP.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and system solutions.
• Experience leading functional workstreams or SAP Payroll implementations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across payroll processes and configuration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant SAP Payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
• Experience with SAP HCM Payroll and/or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Experience with payroll integrations and interfaces with HR, Finance, Time, or third-party systems.
• Experience with Payroll Control Center.
• Experience supporting end-to-end SAP Payroll implementations, migrations, or transformation programs.
• Experience with production support, enhancements, and payroll stabilization.
• Knowledge of country-specific payroll requirements and localization.
