Fire Academy is designed to prepare you for a successful career in the fire service. You’ll receive rigorous education, hands-on training, and real-world experience that will build a solid foundation for your future.

Academy Dates

Week of March 15th: Administrative tasks (physicals, onboarding, etc.) Week of March 22nd: Start full class 40 hours Graduation: June 17, 2027

We are currently taking applications for Fire Academy Paramedics.

Upon successful completion, recruits will be offered a full-time position as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Full time positions will include benefits and a pay increase based on the 2027 pay rates.

Lateral firefighter paramedics are encouraged to apply!

- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- NREMT Paramedic License by February 1, 2027
- Colorado Paramedic License by March 10, 2027
