Job Title: Full Stack Technical Lead – Next.js / React / Node.js

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Technical Lead with 10+ years of overall experience to lead the development, modernization, enhancement, and support of a scalable, multi-brand digital publishing and media platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and modern web architectures, along with experience in technical leadership, monorepo development, cloud deployments, CI/CD, and production support.

The role requires a combination of hands-on engineering, solution architecture, team mentorship, and delivery management. Experience with headless CMS platforms, digital media integrations, performance optimization, and AI-assisted software development will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Design and implement modern web architectures using Next.js App Router, server-side rendering, static generation, caching, and revalidation strategies.
- Lead development within a monorepo architecture using Turborepo, pnpm workspaces, reusable components, and shared libraries.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and GraphQL-based integrations to support business and platform requirements.
- Integrate headless CMS platforms, preferably Contentful, including content models, publishing workflows, webhooks, previews, and content delivery.
- Manage integrations with search, media management, video streaming, CDN, advertising, analytics, SEO, and third-party SaaS platforms.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated quality checks, release management, and cloud deployments using GitHub Actions, Vercel, and AWS services.
- Drive application performance, scalability, accessibility, responsive design, security, and SEO optimization.




- Establish engineering best practices through architecture reviews, code reviews, automated testing, and coding standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using application logs, metrics, traces, and observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, and CloudWatch.
- Lead root-cause analysis, incident resolution, release validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with product, UX, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to plan and deliver technical solutions.
- Guide Agile delivery activities, including estimation, sprint planning, backlog refinement, risk management, and release coordination.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and promote effective engineering practices.
- Explore AI-assisted development tools and agentic engineering workflows to improve code quality, testing, troubleshooting, and development productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall software development experience, with proven experience in technical leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of Next.js App Router, modern frontend architecture, and server-side rendering.
- Strong experience with Node.js, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms; Contentful experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with monorepo architectures, preferably Turborepo and pnpm workspaces.
- Strong understanding of reusable components, shared libraries, modular architecture, HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.




- Experience with static site generation, caching, content revalidation, and web performance optimization.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms.
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and Vercel deployments.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, cloud deployment, and production environments.
- Strong understanding of web security, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with production monitoring and troubleshooting using tools such as Datadog, Sentry, and CloudWatch.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, technical decision-making, and team mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital publishing, editorial platforms, media websites, or multi-brand web applications.
- Exposure to video streaming, OTT platforms, VOD, live streaming, adaptive bitrate delivery, and DRM concepts.
- Experience with Contentful, Algolia, Cloudinary, Fastly, or similar content, search, media, and CDN platforms.
- Experience with advertising integrations, analytics, experimentation, tracking, RSS, and content syndication.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows, automated code analysis, intelligent troubleshooting, and AI-driven testing.
