We are growing our Managed Services team and are looking for an experienced IBM Power Systems Engineer to support and optimize enterprise IBM Power environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of IBM Power infrastructure, working with cutting-edge virtualization and storage technologies in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support IBM Power Systems (Power8, Power9, Power10)
- Manage HMC, VIOS, and LPAR environments
- Configure and support Power virtualization technologies
- Perform firmware updates and infrastructure maintenance
- Manage SAN connectivity, NPIV, MPIO, zoning, and storage integration
- Support Live Partition Mobility (LPM) operations
- Monitor system performance and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Develop automation scripts using Bash or Korn Shell
- Participate in customer escalations and 24x7 on-call support rotations

What We're Looking For





- 5+ years of experience with IBM Power Systems administration
- Strong experience with HMC, VIOS, and LPAR management
- Experience with Power virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of SAN environments, storage integration, and networking concepts
- Experience with performance tuning and infrastructure monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with ITIL-based support environments and ticketing systems
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Skills

- IBM Power Systems Certifications
- Experience with Power8, Power9, and Power10 platforms
- Bash or Korn Shell scripting experience
- Customer-facing support experience in enterprise environments

Location: Mexico
