Role purpose

Support accurate, timely and controlled Accounts Payable operations by monitoring transactions, analyzing exceptions and coordinating resolution across AP, Treasury and Record-to-Report. Contribute to month-end readiness, reliable reporting and process improvement within the agreed scope of the role.

Key responsibilities · Operations and stakeholder coordination

- Monitor invoices, payment status, open items and operational exceptions; follow up on pending actions within agreed service levels.
- Coordinate with AP, Procurement, Treasury and Record-to-Report to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues affecting payment or accounting accuracy.
- Provide accurate AP payment and outstanding-item information to support Treasury cash-flow planning, where included in the assigned scope.
- Prepare account analyses and operational reports, escalating recurring exceptions and potential service or control risks.

Key responsibilities · Close, controls and improvement

- Support month-end activities, including AP reconciliations, accrual inputs, open-item cleanup and timely resolution of accounting differences.
- Review AP subledger activity and reconcile relevant balances in accordance with the established ownership and approval matrix.
- Follow approved standard operating procedures, segregation-of-duties requirements and internal controls; maintain appropriate audit evidence.




- Track operational KPIs and investigate root causes of delays, rejected payments or unresolved exceptions.
- Identify opportunities to standardize activities, reduce manual effort and strengthen process documentation and controls.

Minimum qualifications

- Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or comparable relevant experience, subject to HR requirements.
- Hands-on exposure to Accounts Payable or related finance operations, including transaction follow-up, account analysis or reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals, financial controls and ERP-based transaction processing.
- Good Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups and data validation) and attention to data quality.
- Ability to analyze exceptions, manage priorities and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Language proficiency as specified for the approved vacancy (Spanish or English, as applicable).

Preferred qualifications

- Experience supporting payment exception management, AP month-end close, cash-management inputs or audit requests.
- Exposure to SAP, Oracle or equivalent ERP environments; exact applications to be confirmed for the assigned process.
- Experience with operational KPIs, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement in a shared-services environment.
