Role summary

We are looking for an experienced Siemens Opcenter MES consultant based in Mexico to implement, configure and support Opcenter Execution (Process and/or Discrete) at manufacturing sites. You will work with plant teams and the wider project team to deliver a reliable MES that supports production, quality and traceability.

Key responsibilities

- Implement and configure Opcenter Execution Process and/or Discrete to meet site requirements.
- Run workshops with plant, quality and IT teams to gather requirements and map production processes.
- Develop customizations, reports and integrations with ERP (e.g. SAP) and shop-floor systems.
- Support testing, go-live and hypercare, including on-site support at plants in Mexico.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on live systems, and document solutions.
- Train end users and key users on the system.

Required skills and experience





- 3+ years hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Process or Discrete (or predecessors SIMATIC IT / Camstar).
- At least one full MES implementation or ongoing support role at a manufacturing site.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations: work orders, material tracking, quality, genealogy and traceability.
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases.
- Clear communicator with both technical and shop-floor audiences.

Nice to have

- Experience with both Process and Discrete versions.
- .NET / C# development for Opcenter customization.
- Integration experience with SAP, Siemens Teamcenter or PLC/SCADA systems.
- Industry background in pharma, food and beverage, automotive, aerospace or electronics.
- Siemens Opcenter certification.
