A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a highly motivated Mexico Accounts Payable Accountant with proven experience managing Accounts Payable processes in Mexico . This role is critical to ensuring compliance with Mexican regulatory requirements, maintaining strong vendor relationships, optimizing cash flow, and delivering accurate financial reporting that supports effective business and strategic decision-making.

Core areas:

- Responsible from México Accounts Payable
- Manage cash flow activities and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Maintain accurate accounting records by recording, classifying, and monitoring financial transactions.
- Support monthly financial closings and the preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including government filings and reporting obligations.
- Administer fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and insurance policies.
- Coordinate and provide documentation required for internal, external, and government audits.




- Maintain strong accounting and financial controls to safeguard the integrity of financial information.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and operational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting , finance, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience working in a public accounting firm (Despacho Contable) is highly preferred.
- Solid experience in Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, expense reports, and payment scheduling.
- Experience with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in CONTPAQi.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial data analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (70%+).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
