Art Gallery Sales & Marketing Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and sales-driven professional to manage and grow our art gallery in San José del Cabo.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales abilities, digital marketing experience, creativity, and organizational skills. This role involves overseeing daily gallery operations while actively promoting artwork, attracting new buyers, and increasing sales.

Key Responsibilities

Art Sales & Client Relations

- Welcome visitors, present artwork, develop client relationships, and close sales.
- Follow up with prospective buyers and identify new sales opportunities.
- Build relationships with collectors, interior designers, real estate professionals, and local businesses. Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, and other digital marketing channels.
- Create engaging photographs, videos, reels, and promotional content featuring artwork and artists.
- Develop marketing campaigns to increase gallery visibility, attract visitors, and generate sales.
- Maintain and update the gallery website with available artwork, pricing, and artist information. Gallery Presentation & Inventory
- Oversee artwork placement, and exhibition curation.
- Refresh and rearrange artwork displays monthly to maintain an attractive and engaging gallery experience.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including artwork availability, pricing, and condition.
- Coordinate with artists regarding new artwork and exhibitions. Artwork Packaging & Shipping
- Professionally wrap and securely package sold artwork for shipping.
- Coordinate deliveries and drop off packaged artwork at shipping providers.




- Track shipments and follow up with buyers to confirm safe delivery. Events & Gallery Operations
- Organize exhibitions, special events, and promotional activities.
- Manage daily gallery operations and maintain a professional, welcoming environment.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships throughout Los Cabos. Idóneo Candidate
- Proven sales experience, preferably in art, luxury retail, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Strong social media management and digital marketing skills.
- Experience creating engaging visual content and using tools such as Canva.
- Creative eye for artwork presentation and gallery displays.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Familiarity with website management and inventory systems.
- Preferably resides in San José del Cabo or nearby. Compensation & Growth Opportunity

We offer a competitive base salary of approximately $22,000 MXN- $25,000 MXN per month, depending on experience, plus opportunities to earn additional income through sales commissions or performance bonuses. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the gallery, brings fresh ideas, and is motivated to grow the business through marketing, relationships, and sales.
