Responsibilities - Processes and documents all Procure-to-Pay transactions in an efficient and accurate manner by working with the Sourcing Managers, Accounts Payable and key stakeholders in the business units - Obtain and analyze pricing bids, spot buys, and quotes to determine proper sourcing of raw materials - Negotiate pricing, payment terms,
and exercise basic degree of independent judgment to manage vendor relationships - Identify and implement cost savings and avoidance opportunities without impacting service levels - Work to minimize the total cost of transactions.
- Initiate set up process for new vendors.
- Resolve blocked invoice issues.
- Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws - Seek to become the expert and source of advice in area of assignment.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in supply chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of purchasing and understanding of supply chain management - Expertise in SAP and/or SAP-Ariba data processing systems preferred Other skills and abilities:
