Senior Business Analyst (2-Month Contract with Potential Extension)

Location: Mexico City (CDMX) – Hybrid

Salary: $3,500 USD – $4,000 USD / month (based on experience)

Contract Duration: 2 Months (Temporary with strong possibility of extension)

Language Requirement: Fluent / Advanced English (Written and Spoken)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Business Analyst to join our team for a key 2-month project, with potential for contract extension based on performance and project pipeline. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring smooth communication across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with key stakeholders to define business scope, goals, and user stories.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams.
- Facilitate continuous alignment between business users, product owners, and technical development teams.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates clearly and effectively in English to general stakeholders.




- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support the execution of quality assurance strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in tech-driven projects.
- Language: Fluent / Advanced English (C1/C2) — ability to lead meetings, document technical specifications, and write fluent emails/reports in English is non-negotiable.
- Location: Must currently reside in or be willing to commute within Mexico City (CDMX) for our hybrid model.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening and negotiation capabilities.
- Agile Expertise: Strong hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, process modeling skills (BPMN, Flowcharts), and data-driven analytical capability.
