Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, data-driven, and strategic Senior SEO Specialist with 7+ years of hands-on experience to lead and execute organic growth strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
The adecuado candidate will be based in Mexico or Nicaragua, fluent in English (both written and verbal), and possess a deep understanding of modern search engine algorithms, international SEO best practices, and enterprise-level site architecture. You will be responsible for driving organic traffic, improving search visibility, and optimizing user journeys to generate sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement end-to-end organic search strategies, including technical audits, content optimization, authority building, and local/global targeting.
- Technical SEO: Conduct comprehensive site audits (crawlability, indexability, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, JS SEO) and work directly with engineering/web teams to implement recommendations.
- Content & Keyword Strategy: Perform advanced keyword research, search intent analysis, and content gap analyses to guide the content team on high-converting topics and structural optimizations.
- Link Building & Digital PR: Architect ethical, high-impact link acquisition strategies and outreach initiatives to strengthen domain authority.
- Analytics & Performance Reporting: Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, and custom dashboards. Deliver actionable insights and monthly ROI reporting to key stakeholders.
- Algorithm Adaptability: Stay ahead of search engine updates (Google Core Updates, AI Overviews/SGE, helpful content guidance)
and proactively refine strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with web developers, content creators, UX designers, and paid media teams to ensure seamless multi-channel alignment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of dedicated, full-time professional experience in Search Engine Optimization (Agency or In-House).
- Location & Language: Must be located in Mexico or Nicaragua with fluent/bilingual English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Technical Mastery:
- Advanced proficiency in tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Google Tag Manager.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript rendering, structured data (Schema.org), and site migration protocols.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills—ability to translate raw data into clear business metrics and growth opportunities.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of managing large-scale websites, growing non-branded traffic, and driving measurable conversions/revenue through SEO.
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of explaining technical SEO concepts clearly to non-technical teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with International/Multi-lingual SEO (e.g., hreflang setup across LatAm/US markets).
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or automated reporting tools (Looker Studio, PowerBI) for advanced data analysis.
- Experience with AI-assisted SEO tools and workflows (LLM-driven content optimization, search intent clustering).
