With a focus on collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement, they help create well-maintained and successful communities while delivering exceptional support to residents and community leaders.As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statement packages for a portfolio of community associations.Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple operating and reserve accounts.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.Review and analyze Accounts Receivable, including delinquency accounts, late assessments,



and outstanding balances.Review and analyze Accounts Payable activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.Record and adjust accruals and prepayments as needed.Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.Respond to financial inquiries from Board members.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company procedures.Submit monthly financial packages for review and distribute finalized reports.Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting projects as assigned.Work Schedule:Monday - FridayStandard time: 07:00 am - 04:00 pm Mexico City timeDaylight saving: 06:00 am - 03:00 pm Mexico City timeThis position is remote and open to all over the country, but you'll be required to visit our offices in CDMX or GDL on the first day (expenses are covered by you)**Available only for applicants living in Mexico**Benefits:Competitive Salary (According to experience).Remote Work.Work Stability.Christmas bonus of 30 days (Aguinaldo).12 vacation days after the first year.IMSS.Major medical insurance since day 1.After the 3-month probation contract, we add the following:Minor medical insurance (Clinic may vary according to your city).Food vouchers (10% of the gross salary).Restaurant tickets ($2,069 pesos).Saving fund (8% of the gross salary).Strong English skills (verbal and written)Min. 50 Mbps Internet Speed3-5 years of accounting experience in similar positions.Experience with financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.Ability to manage multiple entities or accounts simultaneouslyBachelor's DegreeProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Experience working with accounting software, experience with Strongroom, and Caliber is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
