LEAD MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Location TLAQUEPAQUE, JALISCO

YOUR TASKS

- Lead the development of automotive products from RFQ phase through validation and launch, ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost and Timing (QCT) targets.
- Define and drive technical solutions, translating customer, legal and internal requirements into robust product specifications and development strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional and integral development teams, managing technical risks, project milestones and resource planning throughout the product lifecycle.
- Validate product concepts through simulations, calculations,



testing and verification activities, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and customer expectations.
- Act as the technical representative for customers and internal stakeholders, supporting continuous improvement, lessons learned and knowledge transfer across the organization.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive product development, including responsibility for complete development projects.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes, validation methodologies and industry standards, including V-Model principles.
- Proven experience leading technical discussions and coordinating cross-functional teams in a global environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive technical decisions.
