Back End AWS Developer Sr (Node/NestJS)

Requirements.

+5 years of experience with:

- Advanced proficiency in Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript for the design and development of enterprise backend applications.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas: schema design, JSON Schema validation, Atlas CLI.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, service-to-service communication, and Event-driven architecture patterns, with hands-on AWS MSK (Kafka) and EventBridge experience.
- Strong experience with contract-first API design, using REST and AsyncAPI.
- OAuth2 / OpenID Connect for auth.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for application deployment, integration, and operations (ECS,



Lambda, MSK, EventBridge, S3).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Application of SOLID principles, clean code practices, and secure coding standards.
- Effectively prompts, steers, and critically reviews AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor), applying the same rigor to AI-generated code as human-written code.
- Writes clear implementation specs that agents can reliably act on, and validates agent output against acceptance criteria before merging.

- Drive application reliability, observability, and performance optimization across cloud-native AWS services.
- Technical solution design, requirements analysis, and implementation of scalable backend components.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, providing technical estimates, refining requirements, and driving successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
