About the Role Our client, a fast-growing technology solutions provider, is seeking a Senior General Accountant to join their finance department on a fully remote basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records and supporting its rapid expansion. The adecuado candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented accounting professional with comprehensive experience in all areas of general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. You will be instrumental in driving efficient accounting processes and providing key financial insights. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee general ledger functions, including journal entries,
reconciliations, and month-end close.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and other relevant regulations.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Utilize cloud-based accounting software
