We are looking for the person who will open the spa at Reserva Huakal.

Reserva Huakal is a handcrafted experience of integrated wellbeing in Malinalco, State of Mexico. Handcrafted hospitality: made by hand, at human pace, in a territory where the mountain holds, the earth nourishes, the hands create and the silence teaches.

High-end Mexican hospitality, conscious contact with nature, wellbeing practices, gastronomy and art create the conditions for wellbeing, presence and creativity.

The property holds 39 accommodations: 33 rooms and 6 suites. Reserva Huakal is part of Grupo Huakal, a business initiative linked to the Kalimori Foundation. Its results sustain Kalimori's mission: independence, development and visibility for people with intellectual disabilities. That relationship translates into training, employment inclusion and real opportunity within the operation.

The role

The wellness concept is defined. It now needs someone to turn it into an operation: treatments, rituals, team and daily rhythm. You will have room to shape how the spa runs and to build, from the start,



the team that will sustain it, working closely with the General Manager.

What you will do

- Translate the concept into a treatment menu, rituals and protocols for each room.
- Design the schedule, capacity, bookings and operating flow.
- Recruit and train the therapist team before opening.
- Shape, with Food & Beverage, the wellness offering across the stay.
- Track room occupancy, productivity, inventory, retail and results.

What we are looking for

- Experience leading a spa or wellness operation, as manager or as a second-in-command ready for the next step.
- Technical command of treatments, treatment rooms and protocols.
- Experience training therapists.
- Administrative and commercial judgment, with a feel for the guest experience.
- Fluent Spanish and English; a third language is a plus.
- Willingness to live in Malinalco or relocate.

- Experience opening a spa.
- Experience with international guests.
- Knowledge of spa retail, programming or revenue.
- Interest in training and supporting inclusive teams.
