Junior International Buyer

We are looking for a Junior International Buyer to join our Purchasing team. In this role, you will support international purchasing operations, manage purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers to ensure compliance with established timelines, costs, and procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience in purchasing. Experience with imports is preferred but not required.
- Advanced English proficiency, including reading, writing, and communicating with international suppliers.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Knowledge of import procedures, Incoterms, and international trade documentation is desirable.
- Availability to work on-site in Agrícola Oriental, Iztacalco, Mexico City. Applicants must live within a maximum one-hour commute.

Key Responsibilities





- Create, manage, and follow up on international purchase orders.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers of materials and logistics services.
- Record and track purchasing transactions in the SAE system.
- Coordinate operations with external warehouses.
- Review and monitor warehouse inventory levels.
- Follow up on the international purchasing process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules, costs, and documentation requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

- Monthly salary: MXN $20,000–$25,000, negotiable based on experience.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
