We are looking for an experienced Assistant Mooring Master to join a leading offshore oil and gas operation. This opportunity is idóneo for professionals with a strong background as Chief Officer, Chief Mate, Master Mariner or Loading Master , combined with experience in large Oil Tankers, FPSOs and offshore crude oil transfer operations .
Function Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise tanker mooring and unmooring operations during offshore loading activities.
- Coordinate vessel movements and marine operations with Masters, Chief Officers and marine stakeholders.
- Monitor crude oil loading, offloading and transfer operations to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Verify compliance with marine safety procedures, operational standards and environmental requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and provide support during audits, inspections and emergency response activities.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid STCW II/2 Certificate of Competency (Chief Mate or Master Mariner).
- Minimum 3 years of experience onboard Oil Tankers .
- Previous experience as Chief Officer, Chief Mate, Master Mariner or equivalent marine leadership position .
- Proven experience onboard large Oil Tankers and/or FPSOs .
- Experience with crude oil loading, offloading or cargo transfer operations.
- Advanced English proficiency.
