Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Program Purchasing Manager is responsible for purchasing performance program using acquisition input.

His/her main missions are:

- Ensure including Acquisition Buyers input for new project, maintain constant contact with the program management staff, appoint a Program Purchasing Leader on the development phase, involve expert suppliers, ensure a robust handover of acquisition assumptions, targets, sourcing scenarios, and risks
- Control and confirm that the supplier selection is aligned with the supplier panel and commodity strategy, attend negotiations for complex parts in collaboration with Program buyers and with Commodity Buyers for strategic / sensitive contracts (LON, Bailment,…).
- Monitor purchasing performance of programs: Ensure control of costs, respect for delivery deadlines, respect for quality requirements in accordance with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Maximize leverage of Sourcing for program and financial performance for Division.
- Anticipate and coordinate with Commodities on Programs and pipeline, to prepare Sourcing at best.
- Provide accurate management reporting and coordinate Program, Commodity, ASQ, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Plant stakeholders.
- Consolidate portfolio risks and opportunities, challenge recovery plans, and escalate critical deviations.




- Ensure regular reporting for assigned programs in terms of QC2D (incl. Cash).
- Manage the assigned team of Program Buyers reinforcing adherence to procedures (sourcing, APQP), and tools (Ariba, IPPRO, PBD, CCM…).
- Reinforces and supports transfer to Plant and Productity Purchasing team, helping minimizing costs and risks.
- Accountable for budget realization for their Region / CBU

Your profile and competencies to succeed

- 8 years of experience in similar role within the automotive industry ( Tiers suppliers)
- Experience managing remote teams
- Strong experience managing Programs Purchasing of direct materials and budet management (USD 300M )
- Effective communication and emotional intelligence
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
- Customer service orientationKnowledge of federal regulations and internal policies
- Planning and organization of activities and services
- Collaborative work with teams and internal customers
- Management of development and general training programs
- Advanced English skills
