Mexico. Mode: Remote. We at Coforge are hiring for the position of AWS Cloud Operations, DevOps and Platform Reliability Lead with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead AWS infrastructure, DevOps, and platform operations, ensuring service delivery, technical standards, and L3 escalation management.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across AWS services, Kubernetes/EKS, networking, IAM, compute, storage, database connectivity, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate incident resolution and service restoration across application, data, security, and client platform teams.
• Govern infrastructure changes, deployments, patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and end-of-life remediation.
• Define and maintain observability, monitoring, and alerting standards using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration automation, auto-remediation, and immutable deployment practices.
• Review platform architecture, resilience, backup, scaling, and disaster recovery controls.
• Lead and mentor nearshore and offshore engineering teams, ensuring effective shift handovers and escalation processes.
• Partner with SDE and Automation teams to improve platform reliability and reduce manual operational effort.
• Lead service transition activities, including infrastructure inventory, access validation, runbook documentation,



deployment and rollback procedures, and operational readiness certification. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 9–12 years of overall IT experience, with strong expertise in AWS, DevOps, cloud operations, and platform reliability.
• Deep operational experience with AWS compute, networking, IAM, storage, load balancing, RDS, DynamoDB, and managed services.
• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Docker and Kubernetes/EKS, including deployments, services, ingress, scaling, and cluster health.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, artifact management, release automation, and environment promotion.
• Proficiency in Terraform and/or CloudFormation, including version control, peer reviews, and reusable infrastructure modules.
• Experience with CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk for dashboards, logs, metrics, alerting, and incident correlation.
• Strong operational leadership experience in major incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, change/release governance, capacity, and availability management.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and distributed technical teams.
• Experience operating business-critical cloud services within a managed-services or SRE model.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
