About the Company
We are a leading global logistics and supply chain solutions provider. We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Claim Part Leader to head our billing, irregular events, and logistics insurance recovery team. Position Purpose As a Claim Part Leader, you will lead and develop the Claim team to audit, settle, and recover all local distribution and import irregular events/claims accurately and on time. You will ensure correct AR/AP balances, follow up on insurance processes for a major global electronics client, and maintain control of AP contracts.

Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and assign workloads to the Claim team while monitoring daily performance.
• KPI Management: Own team KPIs, including recovery rates, aging balances, lead times, and insurance recovery.
• Claim Resolution: Negotiate and settle claims with customers, carriers (Road, Ocean, Air), and insurers within approved authority levels.
• Financial Control: Validate weekly AR/AP Claim balance reconciliations with the Finance & Settlement departments.
• Process Improvement: Analyze the root causes of irregular operational events and drive prevention actions alongside the Operations team.
• Reporting: Present weekly and monthly claim status, financial risks, and KPIs to senior management and regional headquarters.
• Contract Support:



Support annual contract reviews regarding the claim scope and assist the Pricing groups during new bidding processes. Main Activities
• Register and control irregular events and claims in our global logistics ERP.
• Issue AR/AP claim letters and follow up consistently with customers and logistics service providers.
• Request, monitor, and control claim payments and collections.
• Follow up closely on end-to-end cargo insurance cases.
• Maintain control and manage renewals of distribution and import AP contracts. Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:
3+ years of experience managing claim processes, cargo insurance, or AR/AP reconciliation within logistics/supply chain environments.
• Language: Professional working proficiency in English (essential for regional reporting and global client interaction).

Skills:
• Strong knowledge of logistics/cargo claim and insurance processes.
• Solid understanding of AR/AP accounting, financial reconciliation, and document auditing.
• Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, formulas, and reporting) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or specialized logistics software).
