We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support business applications in a Windows environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

- Location: Remote (Candidate must reside in Mexico)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications using Progress Software.
- Develop and optimize database solutions, SQL queries, stored procedures, and objects using MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely end-user support.
- Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in deployments, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and support teams while following software development best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Progress Software development.
- 5+ years of general application development experience in any programming language.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience working within a Windows OS environment.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
