Data Integration Engineer Remote · Full-time

About the Role

We're looking for a Data Integration Engineer to own the technical layer between our platform and the outside world. You'll work directly with customer engineering teams to connect, transform, and deliver data across a wide range of systems — turning messy, diverse external sources into clean, reliable pipelines that power our product.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll take integrations from initial discovery all the way to production, making technical decisions that affect performance, reliability, and developer experience.

What You'll Do

- Collaborate with customer technical teams to understand their data sources, schemas, and system constraints.
- Own the full technical lifecycle of customer integrations — from initial data discovery to production deployment.
- Design and maintain pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform data from diverse sources (APIs, databases, event streams).
- Build Python-based systems for data processing and orchestration, with a focus on performance and memory efficiency.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs,



services, and background workers that expose platform functionality.
- Create shared libraries and internal tooling to support scalable data flows and improve the developer experience.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years building production software — backend services, APIs, or data integrations.
- Strong expertise in Python for production systems.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL and data transformation pipelines.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, OAuth/API-key auth, webhooks, and asynchronous background jobs.
- Proven track record integrating with third-party SaaS platforms.
- Comfortable owning ambiguous problems end-to-end, from technical scoping to deployment.

Nice to Have

- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Background in a customer-facing or professional services engineering context.
