About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Manager to join a global technology services organization.

Work Arrangement: Remote opportunities are available throughout Mexico. Candidates based in Mexico City or Guadalajara will follow a hybrid work model.

In this role, you will lead IT Disaster Recovery initiatives, coordinate recovery exercises, and support business continuity strategies to ensure technology resilience.

The idóneo candidate brings strong project management experience, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and coordinate recovery activities in complex, international environments.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in IT Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity, including technology recovery initiatives.
- Proven experience planning, coordinating, and executing Disaster Recovery exercises.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle, including risk assessment, planning, execution, monitoring, and recovery activities.
- Experience identifying gaps in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans (DRP/BCP) and coordinating remediation efforts.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and senior leadership.
- Strong organizational,



problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

- Experience in technology consulting or professional services environments.
- Knowledge of automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies applied to IT resilience.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile methodologies, and IT Service Continuity Management.
- Experience monitoring KPIs and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Relevant certifications in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, ITIL, or Project Management.
