As part of the Process Insights team, we are scaling our SAP analytics expertise to deliver best-in-class solutions. We are seeking a talented SAP Analytics Cloud Planning & Datasphere Consultant to drive analytical initiatives and empower data-driven decision-making across AstraZeneca.

Main duties and responsibilities The role will be responsible for the following activities:

- Design and implement planning models using SAC with Datasphere as the storage layer
- Configure seamless planning solutions with live connectivity between SAC and Datasphere
- Build data models, dimensions, and hierarchies in Datasphere for planning applications
- Develop data actions, multi-actions, and planning workflows with automation capabilities
- Create predictive planning models using AI-powered forecasting features
- Configure planning calendars, version management, factory calendars, and data locking mechanisms
- Develop allocations, calculated measures, and currency translations for complex planning scenarios




- Design interactive planning dashboards and input forms for business users
- Establish live connections between plan and actual data in Datasphere
- Facilitate requirements gathering with finance, HR, and supply chain planning teams
- Monitor and tune model performance, story responsiveness, and data action runtime; apply best practices and naming standards

- Understanding of unified data platform concepts and single source of truth principles
- Knowledge of financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts)
- Experience with SAC content packages for finance, HR, or supply chain planning
- Familiarity with AI-powered forecast enhancements and predictive planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and training
- Work with finance and business teams to run planning cycles, resolve issues, and capture enhancements
- Provide L2/L3 support, incident resolution, and planning calendar administration; ensure SLAs and change control compliance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Energetic, organised and self-motivated.
