Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize all manufacturing operations within our facility. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence by ensuring safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and on-time customer delivery while developing high-performing teams and supporting the organization's strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will possess a strong manufacturing background, exceptional leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset capable of delivering sustainable operational results.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
- Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and business objectives.
- Optimize manufacturing resources, including labor, equipment, materials, and production capacity.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and increase productivity.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, Health & Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Manage operational budgets and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Develop, coach, and mentor production leaders while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.




- Coordinate cross-functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Human Resources.
- Present operational performance and improvement plans to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's Degree or MBA is a plus.

Experience

- Minimum of 5 years in Operations Management, Plant Management, or Production Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing continuous improvement projects.
- Experience working with international manufacturing organizations is highly desirable.

Technical Knowledge
- Production Planning & Capacity Management
- Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma certification is a plus)
- ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
