AMIGO LNG S.A. de C.V., based in Sonora, Mexico, is developing an LNG liquefaction and export terminal in Guaymas, Sonora, with a commitment to responsible development, environmental stewardship, transparent communication, and constructive engagement with local communities and stakeholders.

We are looking for a well-connected, proactive and strategic PR & Media Relations Specialist to strengthen AMIGO LNG's presence and reputation across México. The position will focus on building trusted relationships with journalists and media outlets, developing accurate and relevant corporate stories, supporting spokespersons, monitoring coverage, and helping ensure timely and effective external communication.

Main Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain an active network of journalists, editors, reporters, radio and television hosts, and digital media contacts across Sonora, with particular focus on Hermosillo, Guaymas and Empalme.

· Prepare, edit and distribute press releases, media briefs, statements, talking points and other materials for local and regional media.

· Identify and develop positive, fact-based stories related to AMIGO LNG, including community initiatives, education, local talent, university partnerships, ESG activities, project milestones, safety, innovation and responsible development.

· Conduct proactive media pitching and follow up with journalists and editors to generate relevant editorial coverage.

· Coordinate interviews, media meetings, press briefings, site visits and event coverage.

· Support company spokespersons with key messages, Q&A; documents, interview preparation and media coordination.

· Monitor local and regional news, radio, digital platforms and social media for matters relevant to AMIGO LNG and its reputation.

· Identify emerging issues, inaccurate information and potential reputational risks, and promptly escalate relevant matters to management.

· Maintain an updated media and journalist database for Sonora,



including contact information and areas of coverage.

· Coordinate paid media placements or branded content when appropriate, clearly distinguishing paid opportunities from earned editorial coverage.

· Prepare periodic media coverage reports, including published stories, interviews, reach, tone, key topics and follow-up opportunities.

· Support media relations for corporate, community, university and stakeholder events.

· Coordinate with Management, ESG, Legal, Project Development and other internal teams to ensure external information is accurate, approved and consistent.

· Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Corporate Communications or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, journalism, corporate communications or a similar role.

· Established and demonstrable professional relationships with journalists, editors and media outlets in Sonora.

· Strong knowledge of the media landscape in Guaymas-Empalme, across Sonora, and at the national level in Mexico.

· Experience preparing and placing press releases, corporate stories, interviews or media coverage.

· Excellent Spanish writing, editing and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to translate technical or corporate information into clear, accurate and newsworthy stories.

· Strong judgment when handling sensitive or reputational topics.

· Ability to interact professionally with senior executives, journalists,



community representatives and other stakeholders.

· Understanding of digital media and social media dynamics.

· Intermediate to advanced English is desirable for coordination with the international team.

· Availability to travel within Sonora and attend events, interviews or media activities as required.
