Brief Description:
- The Production Supervisor will coordinate and manage the L1/Wood crew at NMBS – JZ to meet customer requirements while fully adhering to company policies, including Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
Responsibilities
Production Supervisor:
- Be a leader to deploy and encourage full adherence to all SAFETY programs within NMBS-JZ such as Take Control of Safety.
- Hold accountable for all operational efficiency of his area; meet quality and Delivery requirements.
- Daily business process indicator tracking.
- Active interaction with all other areas to coordinate daily production schedules.
- Leading continuous improvement projects.
- Resource management to successfully meet company goals.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training new employees and full integration into our NMBS-JZ production system.
Required Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel & PPT. Comfortable consolidating multiple sets of data.
- Well-organized; strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual English–Spanish, preferably
- Self-directed, positive attitude, and willing to grow.
Preferred
- 2 years in a similar position.
