Senior Operations Analyst - SAS & Python

? Location: Guadalajara (GDL), Mexico Minerva ONSITE

? Working Hours: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

? Work Schedule: 5 days per week

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Operations Analyst with strong experience in SAS, Python, and job monitoring to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with large datasets, automating processes, supporting production environments, and driving operational excellence through analytics and monitoring solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and optimization of critical business processes and applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize data processing solutions using SAS and Python.
- Monitor and support production jobs, ensuring timely execution and issue resolution.
- Analyze operational data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot batch processing, scheduling, and workflow execution issues.
- Implement automation and process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to support operational requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, monitoring procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis activities.
- Support deployment activities and version control processes using GitLab.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SAS Programming.
- Proficiency in Python development and scripting.




- Experience with GitLab and version control best practices.
- Experience in job scheduling, monitoring, and production support environments.
- Knowledge of data analysis, automation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to enterprise monitoring and operational support tools.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
