Senior Software Engineer

Work Arrangement

Candidates will be required to work onsite in Mexico City during the first 1–2 weeks of onboarding. After this period, the position will be remote, with availability to work from the Mexico City office whenever needed.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a global technology-driven environment and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical software solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering position where you will own features from concept to production, leveraging modern AI development tools while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, scalability, and accountability.

The idóneo candidate is passionate about building scalable software solutions, has strong experience with .NET/C# and PostgreSQL, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

- Design and implement features and services using .NET/C#, backed by PostgreSQL.
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable software solutions.
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, tracing problems throughout the technology stack.
- Take ownership of production systems, including debugging, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Use AI development tools daily for code generation, code review, testing, and debugging, while carefully validating AI-generated output before deployment.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and encourage responsible and effective use of AI in software development.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across different time zones.

Skills and Experience




- 5+ years of professional software development experience with .NET/C#.
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query performance optimization.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting scalable systems.
- Strong experience with automated testing.
- Experience owning and supporting production systems, including debugging and resolving live incidents.
- Daily proficiency with AI development tools for software engineering, combined with the ability to review, validate, and take responsibility for AI-generated output.
- Experience participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Ability to mentor and support other engineers.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills, especially when collaborating with distributed teams.

Work Location Requirements
- Must be available to work onsite in Mexico City for the first 1–2 weeks of onboarding.
- After onboarding, the position will transition to a remote work arrangement.
- Must be available to attend the Mexico City office on an occasional basis whenever required.
