Seeking a Software Engineer to design develop and maintain reliable production grade applications in a complex always on environment. The role requires strong technical judgment operational ownership and effective collaboration across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop test and deploy scalable software services and features.
Work across legacy applications and modern microservices.
Prepare technical designs and evaluate implementation tradeoffs.
Build automated tests and participate in code reviews.
Identify technical risks performance bottlenecks and system improvements.
Support production incidents root cause analysis monitoring logging and alerting.
Maintain clear technical and architectural documentation.
Collaborate with Product Operations and Engineering teams across time zones.
Ensure solutions follow security privacy compliance and engineering standards.
Required Skills
5 years of software engineering experience in production environments.
Strong proficiency in at least two of the following:
o Ruby o JavaScript Typescript with Nodejs o Java with Spring Framework o Python
Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Working knowledge of Redis RabbitMQ or similar technologies.
Experience with CICD pipelines including GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with AWS and cloudbased architectures.
Familiarity with Linux and on-premises environments.
Strong problem solving documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote distributed environment.
Flexibility to support occasional afterhours production issues.
