Role Description The Cost and Bidding Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Hermosillo, SON. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services. The analyst will review project designs and technical specifications, request and compare supplier and contractor quotations, and support the preparation of bids and proposals for public and private tenders.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project risks and margins, maintaining updated cost databases,



and ensuring that all bids comply with legal, technical, and company standards. The role also involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, finance, and procurement teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely submissions.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Experience in bidding and tender processes, proposal preparation, and evaluation of supplier and contractor offers.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction contracts.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and cost management software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation, data entry, and financial calculations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with local regulations and safety standards are an advantage.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple bids and deadlines.
